Original lyrics:

Imagine by John Lennon

Imagine there's no heaven
It's easy if you try
No hell below us
Above us only sky
Imagine all the people living for today
Imagine there's no countries
It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
And no religion too
Imagine all the people living life in peace, you
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one
Imagine no possessions
I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
A brotherhood of man
Imagine all the people sharing all the world, you
You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope some day you'll join us
And the world will be as one

Petrarchan Sonnet:

Envision within a different world
A sanction of peace where thou shall not dwell
With no existence of heaven or hell
The gorgeous blue sky above and unfurled
The universe calm like the oceans swirled
No borders dividing lands that befell
The wishes for freedom are winds that yell
Our hope is fragile like dead leaves that whirled

Envision within no hunger or greed
It is an existence we can all share
Our trust in one another displays our care
From violence and hatred we are freed
While thou may call me Dreamer as they see

My dreams of peace can become reality
